Job Description

As a Child, Family, and School Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in supporting families facing challenges. You will assess needs, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with community resources to provide effective solutions. Responsibilities

  • Assist families in navigating social service systems and accessing necessary resources.
  • Develop and implement programs to improve family engagement and community involvement.
  • Create individualized treatment plans based on family assessments and goals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care for families.
  • Facilitate support groups for parents and caregivers.
  • Provide training and mentorship to interns and junior staff.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Conduct outreach efforts to raise awareness about available services.
  • Engage in self-care and professional development to enhance skills and well-being.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families, schools, and community organizations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Master's degree in Social Work preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in social work or related field
