Job Description

As a Fish and Wildlife Warden, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and enforcing laws related to fish and wildlife conservation. Your responsibilities will involve patrolling designated areas and conducting investigations to ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Enforce wildlife laws and regulations to prevent poaching, hunting, and fishing violations.
• Monitor and patrol protected areas, including parks and wildlife refuges.
• Investigate wildlife-related crimes and gather evidence for prosecution.
• Assist in wildlife rehabilitation and rescue operations.
• Conduct public outreach programs and educational workshops regarding conservation issues.
• Participate in field surveys and population assessments of various species.
• Compile reports and maintain databases for tracking wildlife data.
• Engage with local communities to promote wildlife protection efforts.
• Develop and implement strategies for habitat restoration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in wildlife conservation or related field

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in wildlife management or law enforcement

Technical Skills

• GIS software proficiency
• Boating and water safety

Soft Skills

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
