Job Description

The Nurse Assistant will be responsible for providing essential nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses. You will assist with daily activities and monitor vital signs, ensuring a high level of patient comfort and support.

Responsibilities

  • Help patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Take and document vital signs and report any changes to the nurse.
  • Assist in ambulating patients and safely transferring them to different locations.
  • Engage in patient care planning and implementation alongside nursing staff.
  • Prepare patient rooms and ensure a clean, safe environment.
  • Provide quality care and address patients' concerns and needs promptly.
  • Participate in training and orientation programs as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Support nursing staff with diagnostic tests and procedures.
  • Uphold the standards of care for patients with dignity and respect.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Assistant training program is preferred
Experience
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
