Job Description

The Asphalt Plant Operator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the asphalt plant, producing high-quality asphalt and ensuring that all safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the asphalt plant.
• Ensure production of asphalt according to specifications.
• Adjust processes based on quality control assessments.
• Conduct safety inspections and encourage compliance.
• Maintain records of production and maintenance.
• Assist with budgeting and cost management.
• Communicate with external stakeholders regarding production schedules.
• Facilitate training sessions for new employees.
• Analyze production reports to identify improvements.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Heavy Equipment Operations is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years experience in asphalt plant operations preferred
