Job Description

Cincinnati Events Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Event Planner to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing all aspects of event planning including budgeting, logistics, and coordination with vendors. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with a flair for organization and a passion for putting on exceptional events.

Responsibilities

  • Create innovative event concepts based on client discussions.
  • Lead a team of event coordinators and volunteers as needed.
  • Ensure all event materials are produced and delivered on time.
  • Manage guest lists and RSVP tracking.
  • Provide on-site leadership to ensure events run smoothly.
  • Assist with event marketing, outreach, and community engagement.
  • Research and implement sustainable event practices whenever possible.
  • Prepare and manage event schedules and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and sponsors.
  • Evaluate event success metrics and prepare reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications preferred
  • Certification in Event Planning is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in event management or related field
