Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Jewelry Inspector to join our quality control team. The ideal candidate will have keen attention to detail and a strong background in jewelry manufacturing. You will play an essential role in ensuring our jewelry pieces meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of various jewelry items for quality assurance.
• Coordinate with production methods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Train new team members on quality inspection processes.
• Identify trends in defects and suggest corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed quality inspection reports for management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma is required
• Degree in Gemology or related field is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in quality control within jewelry manufacturing.

Technical Skills

• Microscopy skills
• Familiarity with jewelry inspection tools

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A keen eye for quality and design

Certifications

• Gemology certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in gemology or certification as a gemologist: Professional understanding of gem quality and properties.
