Housing Navigator

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Housing Navigator to assist individuals and families in securing safe and affordable housing. You will play a crucial role in advocating for clients and providing them with the necessary support to navigate housing challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and develop tailored housing solutions.
• Provide application assistance for housing programs and financial aid.
• Build and maintain strong connections with housing stakeholders.
• Conduct educational workshops on maintaining stable housing.
• Support clients in budgeting and understanding financial responsibilities.
• Facilitate ongoing communication between clients and service providers.
• Track client outcomes and report on service delivery effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field is essential.
• Master's degree in social work preferred.

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in housing services or social work.
