Radio Communications Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Radio Communications Technician who will be responsible for the comprehensive management of radio systems, from installation to troubleshooting. Your technical skills will help streamline communication for our diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Setup and optimize radio communication devices across various locations.
• Conduct system checks and preventive maintenance on radio equipment.
• Respond to service calls to fix system failures in a timely manner.
• Document installations and maintenance work in compliance with policies.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry standards.
• Mentor junior technicians in best practices for installations and repairs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in radio communication systems is preferred

Technical Skills

• Digital Radio Technology (e.g. P25, DMR)
• Wireless Networking

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Adaptability
