Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Earth Driller to operate and maintain drilling equipment at construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure safe and efficient drilling for various projects, including utility installations and foundations. Your expertise will be crucial in achieving project goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of drilling equipment for construction projects.
• Assess site conditions and make recommendations for effective drilling techniques.
• Maintain records of drilling operations and equipment performance.
• Work closely with engineers and project leads to align drilling efforts with project needs.
• Implement safety protocols and participate in safety training sessions.
• Participate in the setup and dismantling of drilling rigs.
• Monitor soil conditions and make adjustments to drilling plans as necessary.
• Assist in transporting drilling equipment and materials to job sites.
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections.
• Follow all company policies regarding environmental protection and site restoration.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certifications in drilling operations are preferred

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in operating drilling equipment in construction or related fields
