Internal Auditor

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team in San Antonio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating compliance with policies, regulations, and laws while ensuring the efficacy of our internal controls. This role will involve analyzing financial records and processes to identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop audit plans and determine audit scope to meet company objectives.
• Identify risks and implement auditing procedures to mitigate those risks.
• Assist in the preparation of internal compliance documentation.
• Facilitate audit meetings and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance with corrective action plans post-audit.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in auditing (internal or external)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with auditing software tools: Hands-on experience using platforms like ACL, IDEA, etc.
