Job Description

The Forest Fire Prevention Agency is seeking dedicated Firefighters to respond to emergencies and manage forest fires. As a Firefighter, you will be part of a team working tirelessly to protect natural resources and communities from the threat of wildfires.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and mitigate fire hazards during forest management activities.
  • Plan and implement controlled burns to reduce wildfire risk in high-threat areas.
  • Collaborate with other emergency services to coordinate firefighting efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols while operating firefighting vehicles and equipment.
  • Document firefighting activities and maintain accurate incident reports.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and command staff during emergencies.
  • Assist in community outreach efforts to educate on wildfire prevention strategies.
  • Conduct post-fire assessments and rehabilitation efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Firefighter certification preferred
Experience
  • Prior experience in firefighting or emergency services is highly preferred
