Casting House Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Casting House Laborer to assist with the production of metal castings. In this role, you'll ensure that the production process runs smoothly, contributing to the quality of our products.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in the efficient production of cast metal parts.
• Prepare and clean molds for casting operations.
• Regularly inspect and test equipment for safe usage.
• Monitor quality during casting and suggest improvements.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss workflow enhancements.
• Assist in the training of new employees as necessary.
• Follow all established safety practices and guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in metalworking or manufacturing is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Basic computer skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in safety practices: Any relevant safety training or certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience in foundry work: Experience in a foundry setting or with metal castings is beneficial.
