Linen Room Custodian

Job Description

We are looking for a Linen Room Custodian to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining linen inventory, coordinating the distribution of linens, and ensuring cleanliness and organization within the linen room. Successful custodians are detail-oriented and organized, ensuring our linens are always in top condition.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort dirty linens from departments.
• Maintain hygiene standards while cleaning and handling linens.
• Ensure timely availability of clean linens to support various departments.
• Keep linen room clean, organized, and safe.
• Document linen usage and report needs for replenishment.
• Collaborate with housekeeping to schedule deliveries.
• Conduct regular inspections of linen for quality assurance.
• Handle any special requests for linens based on events.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Hospitality Management is a plus

Experience

• Previous housekeeping experience advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent
