Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pulmonary Function Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting diagnostic tests on patients to evaluate their respiratory function and aid in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary diseases.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct various pulmonary function tests and calibrate testing equipment.
  • Analyze and document test results for physician review.
  • Provide education and support to patients about respiratory health.
  • Ensure a safe environment for patients undergoing tests.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or a related field
  • Certification as a Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT)
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pulmonary function testing
