Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Land Title Examiner to join our dedicated team. Your role will involve researching and analyzing various property records and legal documents to establish ownership and pinpoint any issues related to land titles. You'll conduct title searches, verify legal descriptions, and prepare comprehensive reports, ensuring compliance with all legal standards.

Responsibilities

  • Review property records, including historical deeds and legal documents, for accuracy.
  • Conduct title searches to identify any liens, encumbrances, or other obstacles.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings and any pertinent legal issues.
  • Engage with surveyors, attorneys, and clients to clarify and resolve title problems.
  • Stay informed about local and national land title regulations and industry trends.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff regarding best practices in title examinations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in any relevant field
  • Additional certifications in title examination are a plus
Experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in title searching or real estate
