Job Description

The School Psychometrist will conduct assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and social-emotional capabilities. This role is pivotal in developing strategies that support individualized educational planning. Join us to make a meaningful impact!

Responsibilities

  • Administer psychological assessments to identify cognitive strengths and weaknesses.
  • Interpret data to formulate educational evaluations and recommendations.
  • Partner with families and school staff to create IEPs tailored to student needs.
  • Document detailed observations of student behavior and progress over time.
  • Facilitate workshops for teachers on supportive strategies for diverse learners.
  • Advocate for the emotional and social well-being of students within the school.
  • Engage with community resources for additional student support.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments to measure student progress and program effectiveness.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Licensure or certification as a School Psychometrist required
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting required.
