Security Guard (Gate Watchman)

Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated Gate Watchman to join our security team. The Gate Watchman will be responsible for monitoring access to our facility, ensuring the safety of personnel and property, and maintaining a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Control access at the entrance gate, ensuring all visitors are properly identified.
• Perform regular checks of vehicles and packages for security threats.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of all incoming and outgoing personnel and vehicles.
• Act swiftly in response to security breaches or emergency situations.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with guests and visitors.
• Consistently follow security protocols to ensure a secure environment.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance security measures.
• Keep abreast of security technology and best practices.
• Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to improve skills.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a security-related role

• Valid Security Guard License
