Job Description
As an Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Technician, your role will involve the maintenance and repair of drones and related equipment. You'll ensure UAS systems are operational and perform regular inspections to uphold safety standards.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for UAS systems.
Analyze operational data to identify performance issues.
Liaise with vendors for parts and special repairs.
Provide recommendations on UAS upgrades and improvements.
Assist in troubleshooting issues encountered during UAS flights.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.
Prepare technical reports on UAS performance and maintenance.
Cultivate strong relationships with UAS operators for better workflow.
Engage in continuous learning to adapt to technological advancements.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
3+ years of experience in UAS maintenance and repair
