Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Animal Trainer to join our team. You will play a vital role in the training and care of our primate residents, ensuring their health and well-being while educating visitors about their behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with veterinary staff to implement health care plans.
  • Participate in creating marketing materials focused on animal training and conservation.
  • Engage in community education programs about wildlife conservation.
  • Monitor and evaluate behavioral changes in the animals during training.
  • Develop and lead workshops for fellow staff on best practices in animal training.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Zoology, Animal Sciences, or related field
  • Experience working in a zoo or similar environment preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in animal training and care
