Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Animal Trainer to join our team. You will play a vital role in the training and care of our primate residents, ensuring their health and well-being while educating visitors about their behavior.
Responsibilities
Work closely with veterinary staff to implement health care plans.
Participate in creating marketing materials focused on animal training and conservation.
Engage in community education programs about wildlife conservation.
Monitor and evaluate behavioral changes in the animals during training.
Develop and lead workshops for fellow staff on best practices in animal training.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Zoology, Animal Sciences, or related field
Experience working in a zoo or similar environment preferred
Experience
2-4 years of experience in animal training and care
