Job Description

Join our team as a Bookkeeper, where you will play a critical role in managing our financial records. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries for all financial transactions.
• Review invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain spreadsheets and databases for financial reporting.
• Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Adapt to new accounting software and technologies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients regarding financial inquiries.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving financial processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a bookkeeping role

• TurboTax
• Financial Reporting Tools

Certifications

• Bookkeeping Certification
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
