Job Description

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our creative team in Virginia Beach. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions for residential and commercial spaces. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into beautiful, functional spaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead design meetings with clients to refine project goals.
• Prepare 3D visualizations and mood boards for client approval.
• Manage project progress, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Establish relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Support marketing efforts through participation in promotional activities.
• Develop environmentally sustainable design solutions.
• Collaborate with construction teams during the build process.
• Document design decisions and changes for each project.
• Train and mentor junior designers on best practices.
• Foster a positive and creative team environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the field of interior design

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Interior Design Software

Soft Skills

• Client Relationship Management

Certifications

• Certified Interior Designer (CID)

Languages

• English: Fluent
