Job Description

As a Central Melt Specialist, you will oversee the molten metal production process, ensuring quality and safety standards are met while maintaining furnace operations. This role requires a deep understanding of metallurgy and strong troubleshooting skills to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate central melting furnace and oversee the aluminum melting process.
• Evaluate production workflows and refine processes for improved output.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and industry regulations.
• Analyze production data to assess quality and consistency of melted material.
• Communicate effectively with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues with the melt control system.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on lean manufacturing.
• Conduct training sessions for new hires on operational protocols and safety measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in central melting operations or related role
