Job Description

As a Straightening Roll Operator, your main responsibility will be to operate and maintain straightening machines ensuring the quality and precision of metal components. You will work closely with a team of skilled operators to meet production goals and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance during production.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance according to the machine’s specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate logs of production activity and quality assessments.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to address any product deviations.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment by adhering to company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Assist in developing efficient work processes and improvements in machine operations.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience working with metalworking machinery preferred

Technical Skills

• Interpret technical drawings
• Calipers and micrometers

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of different metal types: Understanding of various metals and their properties during straightening processes.
• Prior experience in similar roles: Experience as a manufacturing operator in relevant industries is beneficial.
