Job Description

As a Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC), you'll operate unmanned aerial systems to perform crucial tasks such as aerial photography, surveying, and inspections. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient operations while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough pre-flight checks to verify all systems and equipment are operational.
• Pilot drones for various tasks, ensuring adherence to established safety standards.
• Document all flights and operations meticulously for compliance and review.
• Evaluate flight data and provide feedback on operational effectiveness.
• Work with project managers to ensure the successful execution of drone projects.
• Implement immediate corrective actions in response to any issues or malfunctions during flights.
• Engage in continuous learning to improve piloting skills and knowledge of drone technology.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)

Experience

• Minimum of 1-3 years of commercial drone operations or flying manned aircraft.

Technical Skills

• UAS piloting skills
• Flight planning and navigation

Certifications

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
• Valid driver's license

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with GIS software: Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems for mapping and surveying purposes.
