We are seeking a skilled Surveying and Mapping Technician to support our mapping team in ensuring the accuracy and quality of geographic data. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with team members to edit and maintain maps, ensuring they meet the highest standards of precision and quality.

Responsibilities

• Edit and verify geographic data to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Work closely with data researchers to improve dataset accuracy.
• Implement effective data management strategies for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to cross-departmental projects integrating mapping data.
• Maintain documentation of processes and technical specifications.
• Ensure alignment of mapping outputs with project requirements and timelines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Cartography, or related field
• Professional certifications in GIS or mapping technologies are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mapping, GIS, or a related field
