As a Tar Roofer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing roofing systems using tar as a waterproofing material. Responsibilities

• Install and repair flat roofs using tar and other materials.
• Measure roofs, estimate materials needed, and provide cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

• Train and mentor junior roofers on best practices and safety measures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Roofing Installation Certification preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in tar roofing

Technical Skills

• Blueprint Reading

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
