Job Description

The Excavating and Loading Machine and Dragline Operator will be responsible for operating steam-powered excavators to perform heavy construction work such as digging and material movement. The ideal candidate boasts a strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to maintaining safety on the job site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate excavation machinery for various projects.
• Ensure all machinery is maintained and inspected as per guidelines.
• Work alongside other operators and site personnel in project execution.
• Remain vigilant and adhere to all safety measures on site.
• Record equipment hours and maintenance schedules accurately.
• Assist in logistics related to material transport.
• Participate in safety drills and compliance training.
• Effectively communicate any site-related issues to management.
• Continuously improve personal skill set through training.
• Foster a positive work environment through collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in excavation or heavy equipment operation.

Languages
