Job Description
We're looking for a dedicated Potato Chip Sorter to join our production team. Your main responsibility will be to sort chips based on quality and characteristics, ensuring only the best products make it to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all sorted chips meet quality control standards.
- Report any quality issues to the Production Manager.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Train new team members on sorting procedures and safety practices.
Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Previous experience in food manufacturing is advantageous
Technical Skills
- Prior knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Experience with production line equipment
Soft Skills
- Adaptability
- Strong work ethic
Languages
- English: Fluent
Advantageous
- Experience operating production line equipment: Hands-on experience with machinery in food production.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds: Physical capability to handle products efficiently.
