Job Description
As a Patient Transport Orderly, you will play a vital role in the healthcare team by safely moving patients throughout the hospital. You'll collaborate closely with medical staff to ensure the comfort and safety of patients during their transport.
Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating transport schedules for patients.
Monitor and report any changes in the patient's condition to medical staff.
Train new transport staff on protocols and procedures.
Participate in ongoing education and training sessions.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification as a Patient Transport Orderly preferred
Experience
Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
