Job Description

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with clients in a supportive way to help them achieve their mental health goals. You will conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and provide individual and group therapy. We are looking for someone with a strong background in mental health counseling and a deep passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

  • Offer therapeutic interventions and counseling to clients of diverse backgrounds.
  • Evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Document client interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance client support.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary and ensure client safety.
  • Engage with community resources to improve client well-being.
  • Participate in workshops and seminars to stay updated on trends in mental health treatment.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Doctorate in Psychology is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical settings
