Job Description

As an Insurance Appraiser specializing in auto damage, you will play a crucial role in assessing vehicle damages for insurance claims. Your attention to detail and expertise will ensure accurate evaluations and comprehensive reports.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicles to determine damage severity and necessary repairs.
  • Create detailed appraisal reports for claims processing.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, ensuring they understand the appraisal process.
  • Use specialized inspection tools to gather accurate data.
  • Review and analyze repair estimates from collision centers for validity.
  • Follow up on claims to ensure timely processing and resolution.
  • Work alongside the claims department to address any questions or concerns.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Property and Casualty Insurance is a plus
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in the insurance industry with a focus on auto claims
