Job Description

We are in search of a Can Closing Machine Tender who will efficiently operate and maintain our can closing machines. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the food and beverage manufacturing process, ensuring that production runs smoothly and meets quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and operate can closing machines for production runs.
• Ensure that all production goals and quality standards are met.
• Conduct pre-production checks to ensure machines are in working order.
• Regularly perform maintenance checks and resolve any issues promptly.
• Support the packaging team with efficient product handling.
• Document daily production logs and quality checks.
• Participate in safety audits and training.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of can closing machines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in machine operation or related field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred

Technical Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Measuring tools proficiency

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Forklift Operator

Languages

• English: Fluent
