Job Description

As a Biomass Power Plant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our biomass power generation facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in energy management, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations while optimizing performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily plant operations and ensure adherence to operational protocols.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to enhance team capabilities.
• Develop and maintain maintenance and operational procedures to meet performance standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety compliance and operational efficiency.
• Research and implement new technologies to improve plant operations.
• Monitor budget expenditures and authorize necessary purchases.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance among staff.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for plant maintenance and support.
• Report on plant performance to company executives and provide actionable recommendations.
• Create and manage schedules for preventive maintenance and equipment checks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or related field
• Master's in Business Administration preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in managing energy operations
