Job Description

As a Hot Strip Finisher, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include performing final finishing processes and ensuring all products meet our high-quality standards. Previous experience in similar roles is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform final finishing processes on hot strip steel products, such as grinding, sanding, and polishing.
• Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the timely completion of finished products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate and maintain various hand tools and equipment used in the finishing process.
• Monitor and report any issues or malfunctions in the finishing equipment.
• Adhere to quality control standards to meet customer requirements.
• Keep accurate records of production and inspection results.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest innovative solutions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in hot strip steel finishing or a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of hot strip steel manufacturing processes and finishing techniques
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience operating CNC machines: Proficient in operating computer numerical control machines to enhance production efficiency.
• Knowledge of metallurgy and heat treatment processes: Understanding metal properties and how heat treatment affects them.
