Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Cook to join our culinary team in Chicago. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking a diverse range of dishes that delight our guests. You will work alongside experienced chefs to create memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute timely and efficient preparation of menu items.
  • Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and prepared to specifications.
  • Keep workstations organized and clean during service.
  • Assist in managing food waste and portion control.
  • Work under pressure to meet service times seamlessly.
  • Engage in team meetings to discuss menu updates and improvements.
  • Support inventory control by reporting low stock items.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative work environment among team members.
  • Adhere to local health codes and regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary arts degree is preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in restaurants or fast-paced kitchens
