Job Description

As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you will play an essential role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. This position involves collaborating with development teams to execute test plans and scripts, identifying defects, and enhancing product quality through your insights. Passion for quality and attention to detail are crucial, as you will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.

Responsibilities

• Create automated tests for new and existing features to enhance testing efficiency.
• Work closely with product owners to validate software requirements and functionalities.
• Train junior QA staff on testing procedures and standards.
• Establish and update test scenarios based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues early in development.
• Document detailed testing processes and updates for reference and reporting.
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings to enhance team collaboration.
• Utilize performance testing tools to assess application performance and load.
• Provide QA estimates for project timelines and test deliverables.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for continuous integration and deployment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant certifications in software testing are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
