Job Description

As a Prepress Technician at Tech Print Services, you will play a critical role in preparing and producing print-ready files for various projects. Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of print files, including imposition and proofing.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure the feasibility of design concepts.
• Perform routine quality control checks to meet production standards.
• Communicate effectively with the print team to ensure smooth production transitions.
• Troubleshoot file issues and provide solutions for prepress challenges.
• Document all processes for continuous improvement and training purposes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new prepress technologies.
• Prepare production schedules and manage workflow priorities.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance efficiency.
• Gather feedback from clients on print projects for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Graphic Design or Printing Technology
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in the printing industry

Technical Skills

• Print Production Software
• Digital Printing Techniques

Certifications

• Certified Prepress Technician

Languages

• English: Fluent
