Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating precision tools and dies, working with various materials, and ensuring the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Setup, adjust, and operate machine tools as per die specifications.
• Prepare and review technical drawings and plans to confirm dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper operation.
• Assist in product development by providing technical input and insights.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules.
• Implement best practices in tool making to improve efficiency and output.
• Communicate effectively with team leaders and other departments regarding tool production schedules.
• Engage in ongoing education to stay current with new technologies and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in Machining or a related field is an asset

Experience

• 3+ years working in a manufacturing environment with tools and dies
