Dance Instructor

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Dance Instructor to lead various dance classes at our academy. This role is designed for someone who can inspire creativity while providing structured and engaging dance education. You'll have the opportunity to work with students ranging from beginners to advanced dancers, fostering their love for dance and helping them develop their skills.

Responsibilities

• Create lesson plans tailored to diverse student needs and skill levels.
• Instruct dance classes with an emphasis on technique, creativity, and expression.
• Monitor students’ improvement and provide tailored guidance.
• Choreograph original pieces for performances, integrating various dance styles.
• Conduct auditions and assist with recruitment of new dancers.
• Plan and supervise dance showcases and competitions.
• Maintain an upbeat and professional atmosphere during classes and rehearsals.
• Continuously evaluate and refine teaching methods for optimal student learning.
• Collaborate with other faculty to enrich the overall dance education experience.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dance or Theatre is preferred
• Professional training from a recognized dance institution

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years teaching dance in an educational setting
