Camp Guard

Job Description

The Camp Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the campsite and its occupants. As a vital member of our security team, you will patrol the premises, monitor access points, and respond to any potential security threats or emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Patrol property, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alerts.
• Ensure regular inspections of security equipment.
• Assist emergency responders during critical incidents.
• Provide customer service while enforcing rules and regulations.
• Coordinate emergency evacuation procedures when necessary.
• Review security footage and prepare incident reports as required.
• Collaborate with the camp team to enhance security measures.
• Maintain a positive and reassuring presence at the camp.
• Attend meetings with camp supervisors to discuss security needs.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Basic self-defense
• Access control systems

Soft Skills

• Conflict resolution
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Emergency Response Certification
• Active shooter response training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of local laws: Understanding of regulations related to campsite security and operations.
• Military experience: Previous service in the military can be advantageous for this role.
