Job Description
As a Tax Examiner, you will conduct thorough audits of individual and business tax returns, ensuring adherence to municipal tax laws. You will analyze financial documents, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with taxpayers to resolve issues.
Responsibilities
Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
Engage with taxpayers to provide feedback on audit findings.
Assist in developing tax compliance strategies for clients.
Perform detailed field audits to gather evidence and data.
Conduct training sessions for junior auditors and team members.
Review and update audit techniques in accordance with new regulations.

Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Master's degree is a plus
Experience
3+ years of related experience in tax auditing or compliance
