Job Description

As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), you will be on the front lines of emergency response. Your primary responsibility will be to provide critical care and transport patients to medical facilities efficiently. You will work alongside paramedics, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care. This role demands quick decision-making and effective communication in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate medical attention to patients in emergency situations.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in emergency medical services.
  • Engage in continuous education to stay current on EMS protocols and advances in emergency care.
  • Deliver emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
  • Help maintain the functionality of emergency vehicles and equipment.
  • Assist in triaging patients and determining the urgency of care required.
  • Work effectively as part of a team in high-pressure environments.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Emergency Medical Services
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in emergency medical services is preferred.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
