Job Description

As a Refractory Materials Repairer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and installing fire-resistant materials in high-temperature industrial settings. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Install and repair refractory linings for furnaces, kilns, and boilers.
  • Measure and calculate dimensions for installation accuracy.
  • Operate and maintain tools such as chisels, hammers, and pneumatic hammers.
  • Inspect completed projects to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Communicate with supervisors to provide updates on project status and any issues.
  • Manage inventory of materials and report shortages to the supervisor.

Requirements

Education
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in refractory materials and insulation techniques
