Job Description
As a Refractory Materials Repairer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and installing fire-resistant materials in high-temperature industrial settings. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential in this role.
Responsibilities
Install and repair refractory linings for furnaces, kilns, and boilers.
Measure and calculate dimensions for installation accuracy.
Operate and maintain tools such as chisels, hammers, and pneumatic hammers.
Inspect completed projects to ensure quality standards are met.
Communicate with supervisors to provide updates on project status and any issues.
Manage inventory of materials and report shortages to the supervisor.
Requirements
Education
Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training
Experience
3+ years of experience in refractory materials and insulation techniques
