Job Description

As a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA), you will play a crucial role in supporting surgeons during operations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring the operating room is well-prepared for surgeries.

Responsibilities

  • Support the surgical team by facilitating smooth operations during various surgical specialties.
  • Monitor and maintain a sterile field, adhering to hospital protocols.
  • Assist in the assessment of the patient's condition before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Provide post-operative care and assist with the recovery process.
  • Keep thorough records of procedures and practices to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare or surgical technology
Experience
  • Experience in specialized surgical fields such as orthopedics or cardiovascular surgery is a plus.
