Job Description

As a Websphere Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IBM Websphere middleware. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of web applications while collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IBM Websphere Application Server environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance.
• Coordinate with IT teams to ensure the security and integration of middleware solutions.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures for Websphere configurations.
• Provide analysis and recommendations for system improvements based on performance metrics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• IBM Websphere certifications are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and supporting IBM Websphere middleware software.
