Our company is looking for skilled Slaughterers and Meat Packers to contribute to our production team. This position involves a variety of tasks including meat processing, packaging, and quality control. Responsibilities

• Implement slaughtering processes while ensuring humane treatment of animals.
• Support in the packaging of meat products for distribution.
• Help maintain safety equipment and personal protective gear.
• Report any issues with quality control or processing.
• Engage in cross-training across various departments.
• Maintain compliance with USDA and food safety regulations.
• Actively participate in safety drills and training.
• Assist in the management of waste and by-products responsibly.
• Support the development of a positive team environment.
• Ensure that all production goals are met or exceeded.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED

Experience

• Previous experience in a slaughterhouse or meat processing facility preferred

Technical Skills

• Meat Production
• Quality Control

• Strong Work Ethic
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous supervisory experience: Experience in a leadership role within a meat packing facility.
• Knowledge of animal welfare standards: Understanding of humane treatment and handling of livestock.
