Job Description
The Payroll and Timekeeping Clerk plays a key role in maintaining accurate attendance and payroll records for employees. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Track and validate employee hours worked for payroll.
Communicate with department managers about attendance discrepancies.
Assist in onboarding new employees regarding timekeeping procedures.
Update and maintain attendance tracking software.
Provide regular feedback on attendance issues to HR.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to payroll.
Generate quarterly reports on attendance metrics.
Work collaboratively with payroll specialists to ensure accuracy.
Maintain organized records for audits and compliance checks.
Ensure all attendance policies are communicated effectively to staff.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field is preferred
Experience
2+ years of experience in payroll or HR administration
