Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stone Mason to join our dynamic team at Artisan Stoneworks. You will be responsible for constructing, restoring, and repairing various stonework structures. This physically demanding role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of masonry techniques.

Responsibilities

• Build and restore stone walls, floors, and decorative elements.
• Prepare materials and work site for construction activities.
• Ensure precision in cutting and fitting stones to ensure proper installation.
• Perform site measurements and quality checks throughout projects.
• Work closely with project managers to confirm timelines and budgets.
• Assist in training apprentices in masonry techniques.
• Utilize safety equipment and maintain a risk-free job site.
• Maintain tools and equipment in optimal condition.
• Support project planning activities with site assessments.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training in masonry is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in stonework construction and repair
