Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Design Printing Machine Setter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating advanced printing machines to create high-quality designs and prints. Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of printing processes and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Adjust and calibrate printing machines to achieve desired results.
• Operate multiple printing techniques including digital and offset printing.
• Manage and track inventory of printing supplies and materials.
• Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize jobs based on deadlines.
• Conduct quality checks at various stages of the printing process.
• Assist in the training of new employees on printing operations.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss workflow and efficiency.
• Follow troubleshooting protocols to resolve mechanical issues swiftly.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support efforts to reduce waste and improve sustainability practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates in Graphic Arts or Printing Technology desired

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a printing environment
