Job Description

As a Citrus Peeler, you will play a pivotal role in our fruit processing operations. Your main responsibilities will include the efficient and accurate peeling of citrus fruits such as oranges and grapefruits, ensuring that the skin is removed without damaging the fruit.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety standards while working in the food processing environment.
• Perform routine maintenance on peeling equipment as directed.
• Engage in continuous learning related to food safety and processing techniques.
• Assist with quality checks during the production process.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in food processing or similar roles is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Basic math skills
• Experience with food processing equipment

Soft Skills

• Strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions

Advantageous

• Forklift certification: Certification in forklift operation for moving materials safely.
• Knowledge of citrus fruit varieties: Familiarity with different types of citrus fruits and their handling.
